Strollin'

Two weeks ago, my friend, Jill, alerted me to a quintessential Bozeman event, the Christmas Stroll, which happened on Saturday night. In a nutshell, the Christmas Stroll consists of Main Street being shut down for car traffic so that thousands of people can come out and watch Santa, traveling on horse-drawn sleigh, light the four giant Christmas lights that hang over the main intersections. Food carts and vendors come out, there's tons of live music, and even some belly dancing. All in 20 degree weather, (if you're lucky.)

The event is as sweet as it sounds, including the gingerbread house contest at one bank, the homemade cookies at another, visiting with santa at the Baxter hotel, and cookie decorating at the library. We filled up on the three Cs: cider, hot chocolate, & cookies.

Hoping these pictures send a little holiday cheer your way.
