Ode to endearing beach sites & tchotchke

Some time between astronomical and nautical dawn on Tuesday morning, I awoke at Jon and Shea's house in York, Maine, and was so taken with the sight of the glowing horizon that I abandoned all reason and headed for the beach.

Given that I couldn't locate my shoes and that my day included 15 hours of travel back to Bozeman, I really should have stayed in bed, but the spectacular called.

Since I'm still recovering from my early morning antics, ensuing blisters, and our epic travel day, I'll leave the editorializing and conclude with a photographic ode to endearing beach sites & tchotchke.
